Meltem Kökdener

Meltem at computerDR. MELTEM KÖKDENER received her BSc in Biological Sciences from the University of Istanbul and her MS in Forensic Medicine Instuties from Istanbul University. She completed his PhD from the same university in 2012. Her PhD work focused on ‘Decomposition and Insect Succession Pattern at Three Different Areas of North of Turkey.

She been working at the Samsun Health High School of Ondokuz Mayıs University for about 13 years and two years ago, she was employed by the same department as an assistant professor. Now she is visiting the F.L.I.E.S Facility through a TUBITAK fellowship. Meltem is training on application for using bacterial succession as tool in forensic sciences. Her research is in collaboration with Le Zheng, Dr. Jonathan A. Cammack, Dr. Tawni Crippen – USDA-ARS.
