Laura Harnden

harndenLAURA HARNDEN received her BSc in Biological Sciences from the University of Auckland in 2012. Laura was an Erasmus Mundus student studying towards an MS in Forensic Sciences. She was advised by Dr. Tomberlin in the FLIES Facilty while completing the research component of her degree. Laura examined the growth rates of the black soldier fly, Hermetia illucens L. (Diptera: Stratiomyidae), when reared on pork at three constant temperatures. She returned to the University of Lincoln, UK and successfully defended her MS research.
