AMY DICKERSON is a MS student in the FLIES Facility. She received her BS in Entomology with a certificate in Public Health Entomology from Texas A&M University in December 2016. She has over three years of professional experience rearing black soldier flies (BSF) at the industrial scale. Her research is focused on optimization of BSF colony maintenance with emphasis on the effects of adult BSF age on mating success. Amy’s research will be in collaboration with Drs. Hojun Song and Jessica Yorzinski at Texas A&M.
