EUNYOUNG LEE is a PhD student in the FLIES Facility. She received both her BS in 2021 and MS in 2024 from Seoul
Women’s University in Korea, majoring in Bio & Environmental Technology. During her BS and MS, she collaborated with eight Korean government agencies, including the National Police Agency and the National Institute of Ecology, conducting research in insect ecology and forensic entomology. She has publications, presented at multiple conferences, and received awards for her poster presentations. Her PhD research is examining the impact of maternal choice of blow flies on offspring survival, development and colonization choices of resulting adults. Her goals are to explore the forensic, ecological, and evolutionary implications of resource selection on survival and propagation of blow flies.
