Carolina Nunez

nunezCAROLINA NUNEZ is a visiting PhD student. She finished her BS in Instituto Tecnologico de Conkal in Yucatan, Mexico in 2005. Her thesis work focused on taxonomy. She is currently under the direction of Dr. Oswaldo Garcia Martinez in Universidad Autonoma Agraria Antonio Narro in Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico. Her research for her PhD is examining the succession of the entomofauna associated with pig carcasses. She is also examining the development of calliphorid species found in that region of Mexico. Her research in the FLIES Facility will focus on the impact of excretions and secretions of larvae of different species of calliphorids on bacteria.
