Charity Owings

charityCHARITY OWINGS completed her M.S. in the FLIES laboratory in December 2012. Her graduate research examined the phenotypic plasticity as related to developmental rate of a native blow fly species across different ecoregions of Texas. This research was conducted in collaboration with Dr. Aaron Tarone. Aside from entomology, Charity’s other forensic interests lie in the application of anthropology, acarology, mycology, and soil science to the field of forensic taphonomy.
