ERIN HARRIS is a Ph.D. student in the FLIES Facility. She received her BSc in Biology from Acadia University in 2020. She has experience working in IPM, dealing with Delia flies on cruciferous crops, as well as projects using entomopathogenic nematodes as a biological pest control against Listronotus oregonensis throughout the Atlantic provinces in Canada. Her research is focused on the impact of amino acids, specifically tryptophan, on the overall development of Cochliomyia macellaria, and how this will affect thermal tolerance.
