Gabriele Trissini

gabeGABRIELE TRISSINI received his BS in Medical Biotechnology from the University of Torino. He is pursuing his MS in Experimental Biology under the direction of Dr. Simonetta Lambiase at the University of Pavia, Italy. His research is currently focused on forensic entomology. Gabriele is visiting the FLIES Facility. During his time at Texas A&M University, he will be examining the volatile organic compounds produced by resources colonized by the secondary screwworm, Cochliomyia macellaria (Diptera: Calliphoridae) as a means to decipher the mechanisms regulating intraspecific competition for ephemeral resources.
