Jennifer Sweeney

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAJENNIFER SWEENEY is a MS student in the FLIES Facility and the Rollins Urban and Structural Entomology Facility. Currently she is co-advised by Dr. Tomberlin and Dr. Robert Puckett and is collaborating with PhD student Elida Espinoza. She received her BA in Anthropology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2014 where she also researched and reared the common house fly and multiple blow fly species. She interned at the University of Tennessee Knoxville’s Forensic Anthropology Center before coming to TAMU and has interests within both forensic and urban entomology. Jen’s MS research focuses on bacterial messaging impacts the foraging behavior of the red imported fire ant (RIFA), Solenopsis invicta.
