MICHAEL SANDERS was a M.S. student in the FLIES Facility. He was co-advised by Drs. Jeff Tomberlin and Craig Coates at Texas A&M University and Dr. Heather Jordan at Mississippi State University. He received his B.S. in Entomology from Texas A&M University in 2012. Michael is interested in the ecology of the neglected tropical disease Buruli Ulcer. His research determined volatiles produced by the mycotoxin released by the BU pathogen influenced the attraction and oviposition responses by adult Aedes aegypti aegypti (Diptera: Culicidae). Michael is now a PhD student with Dr. Jordan at Mississippi State University.
